It never rains but it poors…
There seemed to be some doubts about whether or not it really rains here, judging by the photos below, so the next series of pictures will probably be dark and gloomy, depending, of course, on the weather. This picture, taken through the porthole from our bedroom (excuse me, aft cabin) was clicked early one morning when the sky was looking quite orange, about a week ago. But since it is raining right now, I thought it would be legitimate for starting this series.
By the way, Mt. Verstovia and Arrowhead Peak, which rise majestically behind Sitka, are there behind the rain cloud. Notice the big drops of water in the harbor; it was a torrential downpoor that morning.
Until tomorrow... unless I get too busy. Hah! Me? Busy?
