Christmas Day in Sitka
These photos were taken between rain squalls on Christmas Day during sunset, about 3:15 pm. Hardly a soul was out and about. Tonight we have hurricane force winds in the forecast for the early morning hours. They’re also calling for almost 40′ seas! Wild! Nice to be snug inside our cozy main salon, with the wind roaring in the rigging, tarps flapping, and the boat jerking on the lines with every gust. Nice to know we don’t have to walk this evening the almost quarter mile up to the top of the ramp.
