Crossing America 2010 - Yellowstone River Picnic Area Hike
We drove into the park from Gardner this morning to hike the Yellowstone Picnic Area trail. We saw both sides of the Yellowstone Narrows and the Calcite Springs that empty into the river. We also saw one black bear, many bison and a female Williamson Sapsucker. We hiked 3 hrs and 3.7 miles. Great views and exercise!
